Mesidor is an older prospect, will be 25 in his rookie season. This is due in part to an injury history, largely foot injuries. However, his skills in pass rush are undeniable. He has that phenomenal combination of deep pass rush skills, real awareness of how to beat his opponent, adapt as needed, and a truly ruthless demeanor that doesn't take a snap off. He also shows ability to spy mobile QBs. His ability in the run game is less documented and will need further analysis. His run defense grade is high at 90, but run stop % is low and missed tackle is high. He is noted to be a valuable edge setter. He also has the ability and experience to kick inside and be truly versatile. Overall, he seems like an early high end contributor, limited by his size, age, and injury concerns, but he's shown just about everything you're looking for from a guy with those limitations.
