Player Summary

Reese is a stand up linebacker who can play both in coverage or as a true edge. Likely needs to pick one and sprinkle the other in, most likely will be an edge rusher. He's very young but has had great coaching from Patricia and Lauranitus, but there are still some growing pains as he needs to learn how to diagnose quicker. His elite athleticism and trigger allows him to make up for some of that right now, and he should only improve with time. He's got that ideal frame, but needs to fill out more and focus on building upper body strength. He's got the traits to be an effective edge setter with time. But he's got a great tackle radius, consistent wrap up technique, top end closing speed, and has a solid pass rush repetoire to start with. His second half of the season in 2025 really hurt his numbers, but he showed enough improvements and his young age offset a lot of these concerns. He's an easy pick in the top of this draft with his potential and early returns.
