Player Summary
Howell is a small but athletic pass rush specialist in the NFL. Lacks size, instincts, ability to contirbute in the run game, but has a a decent grouping of PR moves to contibute on third down right away. Showed consistent success in PRWR against the SEC for two years in a row, but did disappear in big games against elite fronts. His handwork has room to improve and needs to diversify his cadence, move selection. He's got the right temperment to succeed, absolute competitor when rushing the passer. He's got the moves to start with and athleticism to improve. Hard to see him going super high given his limitation to one down, but could be a real contributor early.
