Player Summary
David Bailey has been the most productive pass rusher for a couple of years now in college. He's accomplished that consistent high level production with elite athleticism, explosive first steps, and a deep bag of pass rush moves. He plays like a stand up linebacker, largely due to his lack of size needed to be a real edge setter and hold his ground in the run game; however, he's shown he can get after the QB even against high level competition. Areas he will need to address include his hand usage, coming up with a better pass rush plan (although he's got a good selection of moves to work with), and bringing more toughness and physicality to his game. He's been able to win with his insane first step quickness and mvoement skills, but that won't be sufficient in the NFL. Fortunately, as mentioned, he's got the moves to work with, he just needs more of a plan. Some concern given his age, but he has a rock solid PR floor and true All pro pass rush potential. He does not get out of the top ten.
