Lee Hunter

Player Summary

Hunter is a massive NT prospect who showed real ability to handle high competition at Texas Tech and was the standout of the Senior Bowl. His massive frame and superior strength allows him to win in the pass and run games. He will not be easily moved backward and consistently collapses the pocket or resets the line of scrimmage. While he doesn't have much upside in the pass rush game due to his limited athleticism, he does show flashes of usage with his hands, and his motor to keep fighting allows him to make some cleanup sacks. He'll need to continue to refine his hand usage and his technique when taking on blocks, but he has the tools to develop into a very reliable early down NT, with some potential to improve his PR game as well. See him as a late 1st round, early second right now. Given the lack of high end talent in this class and the league's need for more guys like him, probably pushes him up a bit.
