Player Summary

Bain is a compact edge defender with inside versatility. He's an extremely tenacious and violent player who disguises a speed to power move that takes unwary tackles off guard if they take a snap off. He showcases elite hand usage, and keeps them well coordinated with his feet. He's got enough bend to create short corners and strong enough hands to shove tackles off balance, a rare combination to win both inside and out. In the run game, he's effective in setting his edge, shedding blocks, and using his natural leverage to get under blocks. His immense strength shows up on film in both phases, including an impressive Bull Rush that also takes advantage of his leverage. His lack of length and high end speed to close/pursue are noticable, but have not prevented him from being Uber productive at the highest levels and in the toughest games. A very safe pick with real all pro potential despite his size limitations. He'll upgrade any defense in either phase.
